3d modeling
As far back as I can remember, 3D graphics and imagery have always captivated me. I studied a bit in college (enough to realize it’s not a profession I wanted to pursue) and learned the fundamentals.
As far back as I can remember, 3D graphics and imagery have always captivated me. I studied a bit in college (enough to realize it’s not a profession I wanted to pursue) and learned the fundamentals.
I’ve been lucky enough to spend time in programs such as Lightwave, Maya, 3DS Max, and Blender. Because the 3D realm is just a hobby for me, I choose to use Blender because it’s free and has an amazingly supportive community. Below is a selection of 3D projects I’ve worked on over the years.
The core component in any 3D project I work on… it has to be fun, interesting, and challenging
Working in another creative medium has given me a better understanding of concepts, such as lighting, environment, and composition
Building something from scratch and then seeing it come to life in a render is really fun, super cool, and satisfying
